Home Buying Education Workshop

MATCU is hosting a Home Buying Education Workshop by
registered counselors
Home Buying Education Workshops are offered with the goal of helping interested
prospective home buyers become ready to purchase their own home.
Individuals will take part in a workshop designed for groups of
seven or more people. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion, which
may be required by some mortgage companies to make a home purchase.
Participants will be educated on the following topics:
• Home Buying Education
• Pre-purchase Counseling
• Mortgage Delinquency
• Loss Mitigation
• Post-purchase information including home improvement and rehabilitation
• HECM (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage)
• Mobility and Relocation Assistance
• Renter Assistance
Workshop date: Saturday, April 26th, 2008
All workshops will be from 1:00pm - 5:30pm at the Administration Building
located at
7845 Hwy 64, Memphis, TN 38133.
