Primary Share Accounts

More time, better dividends.

With a Primary Share account at Orion, members earn dividends on balances of $100 or more. Your account can be used as collateral for low-interest loans and you’ll also receive limited overdraft protection for your Orion checking account.

Become a member and apply, then all you’ll need is a minimum deposit of $25 to open your account. Once your account is opened, you’ll enjoy the following accessibility features:

  • Deposits via payroll deduction.
  • Direct deposit from your employer, Social Security or retirement plan.
  • Withdrawals by telephone via FAST LINE 24 and at Orion branches.

Christmas Club Accounts

Start saving now for the holidays.

Build savings throughout the year for holiday expenses with an easy-to-open Christmas Club account. There’s no minimum balance required and members earn dividends to increase their savings. You’ll also have the convenience of automatic transfers or checks mailed for the entire sum.

Share Certificate Accounts

Guaranteed returns with minimum investment.

As just one of our special services, here’s what you can expect from Orion’s Share Certificate Accounts:

  • Affordable $500 minimum investment.
  • Certificates earn higher dividends than share savings.
  • Guaranteed rate of return for the term.
  • Choose to have dividends automatically credited to your certificate’s principal, transferred to another Orion account or mailed to you by check.
  • Automatically renewed for your convenience at the end of the term for a like term at the current rate.
  • Can be used as collateral for low-interest loans for the length of the certificate.
