Membership
Eligibility
You may be eligible for membership in MATCU in a variety of ways. Currently,
our field of membership includes
- Employees and retired employees of
educational facilities and companies related to education in Tennessee,
DeSoto and Marshall counties in Mississippi and Crittenden County in
Arkansas
- Residents of zip codes: 38016,
38018,(Cordova), 38017,(Collierville), 38138, 38139 (Germantown).
- Family Members (Spouse, Parent, Child,
Sibling, Grandparent, Mother-In-Law, Father-in-law, Sister-in-law,
Brother-in-law, Grandchild, step-parents, step-siblings,
step-children & adoptive relationships)
- All Federal Employees and Retired Federal
Employees. (Some examples of Federal Government: IRS, Post Office, all
Military branches.) For a more complete listing of Federal Government
Agencies please refer to the phone book under Federal Government in the Blue
Pages.
- Students of higher learning
(university/college students) located in Tennessee, DeSoto and Marshall
counties in Mississippi, and in Crittenden County, Arkansas.
- Members of the Hispanic Business Alliance
- Any person who lives, works, worships,
volunteers, attends school or any business or any legal entity in
the Memphis City limits roughly within the area bordered by the I-240 loop
is eligible for membership.
Ways
to Join
If you are eligible for MATCU membership complete a membership
application now. Submit your application to the
closest
branch in person. You will need to bring
identification,
proof of membership eligibility and your initial $25.00 deposit.
Identification Requirements
Individuals applying for membership with MATCU must present
identification that is current (not expired) and issued by a valid and
reliable source or agency.
