What is Dual Factor Authentication?

Dual Factor Authentication refers to the use of multiple (second) authentication keys used in computing - particularly with reference to online activities such as internet banking as part of a private key system.

Your online safety is important to us!

Memphis Area Teachers’ Credit Union is committed to providing the most secure online access to your accounts for our Internet Banking service. In order to strengthen the security of accessing your online accounts,  we have implemented an internet security system that may require you to answer your security question correctly to gain access to Internet Banking or receive a security code via the email address we have on file for you which would needed to gain access to Internet Banking.  

You may change your security question by following these instructions to ::

  1. Click on User Services located on the tabs next to Accounts and Transfers
    • Under the category of Manage Account, you will see “Change Security Verification Question”.
  2. Click on Change Security Verification Question
  3. Click on Edit
  4. Choose the question you want
  5. Type in your response
  6. Click on Submit

We would also like to ask you to update your e-mail address at the same time. While you are under the User Services tab, please choose the option “Update Email Address”.
